Job Description: Control Centre Operator Job Responsibilities: 1. Operate and monitor all surveillance security systems/cameras within the Control Centre efficiently. 2. Ensure compliance with operating procedures, legislation, and best practices. 3. Record all events, incidents, and actions taken in a clear, legible, and accurate written format. 4. Maintain a secure system for providing data in accordance with regulations. 5. Ensure the security of the control room and equipment is maintained at all times. 6. Report equipment failure to the Chief Security Officer or Management promptly. 7. Provide an efficient and courteous radio and telephone answering service. 8. Deal efficiently with all enquiries from guests, staff, and external parties. 9. Liaise with security agencies and staff to ensure the appropriate use of the CCTV system. 10. Record all evidential records and witness statements to a standard acceptable to the rules of evidence. Qualifications: - Previous experience in operating surveillance systems and cameras. - Knowledge of operating procedures, legislation, and best practices related to security. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to handle radio and telephone communications efficiently. - Familiarity with rules of evidence and maintaining evidential records. - Attention to detail and ability to work in a high-pressure environment. - Willingness to report equipment failures promptly.
