Job Title: Customer Service Representative Company Overview: We are a leading health care facility committed to providing top-quality medical services. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless operations and exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: - Patient Interaction: - Greet patients warmly upon arrival. - Provide patients with preliminary non-medical information and solutions. - Appointment Coordination: - Answer phone calls promptly and professionally. - Schedule appointments and manage doctors’ calendars to ensure efficient coordination. - Administrative Support: - Assist in the completion of insurance forms and provide patients with information on coverage policies. - Collect and distribute incoming faxes. - Perform transcriptions based on physician recordings. - Handle correspondence for top-level physicians as needed. - Data Management: - Perform data entry and regularly update patient records. Skills and Qualifications: - Computer Skills: - Proficiency in word processing, database creation/maintenance, and desktop publishing. - Knowledge of operating system tools. - Experience with various telephone systems is a plus. - Administrative Skills: - Strong organizational skills to facilitate coordination between departments and vendors. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience: - Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting. - Familiarity with insurance policies and form completion is advantageous.
