GMG operates across the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia, introducing more than 120 brands into its markets.Role Overview:As a Sales Assistant at GMG, you will be responsible for promoting products and services to customers, aiming to maximize sales opportunities and provide exceptional service.Core Responsibilities:- Describe product features and benefits; demonstrate the use and handling of the product.- Educate clients on brand quality standards and specifications.- Advise customers on product ranges best suited to their needs; answer customers’ queries to assist in purchase decisions.- Provide information to customers on warranties, features, specifications, maintenance, and care of products.- Ensure customers’ needs are met, and complaints are resolved or escalated; provide exceptional customer service.- Stay informed about new product launches, promotional events, and sales.- Achieve sales targets using sales techniques, up-selling, and cross-selling.- Ensure accurate pricing and adherence to company standards and policies.- Process cash, change, credit payments; generate invoices and receipts.- Operate as a cashier with consistent accuracy in money handling.- Follow after-sales processes and adhere to repair/return policies and procedures.- Adhere to loss prevention, inventory controls, and standard operating procedures.- Assist in store merchandising, product placement, and arrangement.- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and grooming etiquettes in the store.Self-Management:- Define performance goals in consultation with the reporting manager and ensure their achievement.- Take ownership of the learning agenda, identifying development needs, and agreeing on an individual development plan.- Stay informed about professional developments, new techniques, and current issues through continued education and professional growth.If you meet the qualifications and are interested in this position, please submit your application.
