Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Key Result Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence:
1. Verify and ensure compatibility and readiness of Battery Shop stock as per approved standards.
2. Review assigned task cards with the Workshop Supervisor, preparing and performing scheduled Batteries maintenance according to assigned task cards.
3. Perform component Batteries tests and inspections, troubleshooting and rectification of defects.
4. Sign off on maintenance tasks performed or supervised, ensuring completion of all documentation to the required standard.
5. Coordinate with Technical Buyer on component replacements, ensuring timeliness and readiness.

Safety:
1. Manage safety of assigned maintenance tasks, following mandatory precautions and taking positive steps to protect self and others.
2. Ensure proper use of GSE (Ground Support Equipment) and protective equipment.
3. Manage human factors aspects of maintenance, avoiding task interruption and ensuring proper handover procedures.

Reputation and Teamwork:
1. Provide positive support to other operational teams in Air Arabia, offering professional advice, suggestions, and solutions.
2. Present a positive and competent image of technical professionalism to Air Arabia Flight Crews, personnel from other companies, and Air Arabia customers.

Cost Awareness:
1. Maintain awareness of the cost of component maintenance, minimizing unnecessary waste of consumable material and part repair costs.

Qualifications:
- Holds or has held an Aeronautical diploma or equivalent in applicable engineering.
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for technical communications.
- Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to obtain a UAE Driver’s License.
