Job Description

Job Title: Auditor I

Job Overview

The Auditor I will support the implementation and adherence to accounting policies and procedures for Accounts Payables/Receivables across UAEU. This role involves maintaining accurate records, auditing accounting entries, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and preparing necessary reports. The Auditor I will also be responsible for transferring accounting knowledge within the department and ensuring adherence to accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Policy and Procedure Support
- Assist in implementing and adhering to policies and procedures for Accounts Payables/Receivables across UAEU.
- Ensure financial transactions comply with value-added tax regulations.

- Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate records of payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and statements.
- Audit accounting entries to ensure accuracy.

- Knowledge Transfer
- Facilitate the transfer of knowledge regarding accounting practices among department members.
- Direct units to adhere to accounting procedures and practices.

- Financial Transactions
- Follow up on the monthly closing of advances and liability balances.
- Prepare necessary reports, including accounts payable/receivable aging reports.

- Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare reports as required for the department.
- Carry out additional work related to the nature of the assigned tasks by the direct unit head.

Qualifications

- Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting or a related field.

- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Accounting, MBA, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certification of Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA).
