Job Title: Automotive Instructor

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Bring a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in Mobility Technology.
- Have at least 2 years of teaching or training experience in a related field.
- Exhibit strong analytical thinking and the ability to rapidly grasp new concepts and prioritize key topics.
- Demonstrate dedication, reliability, and teamwork, with good intercultural skills and an awareness of gender issues and cultural backgrounds in the UAE.
- Possess proven experience as an auto mechanic.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle components, including EV vehicles; knowledge of Hydrogen technology is an advantage.
- Be proficient in vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
- Teach various sub-fields, including:
- Inspecting vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately for traditional and electrical vehicles.
- Using electronic diagnostic tools professionally to inspect, maintain, and upgrade car electronic systems.
- Conducting routine maintenance to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity.
- Repairing or replacing broken or dysfunctional parts and fixing issues (e.g., leaks).
- Providing accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for repair or maintenance jobs.
- Maintaining equipment and tools in good condition.
- Display intercultural awareness and strong communication skills.
- Be proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Office and vehicle diagnostic tools.
- Stay updated on legal requirements and health & safety regulations.
- Supervise student teams, plan, and monitor student activities.
- Show creativity and flexibility in working with young people and introducing them to Mobility Technology.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in a relevant area.
- Excellent oral and written English skills are essential; English language certificates are an advantage.
- Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
