HSE Officer

Position: HSE Officer

We are currently seeking an experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Officer for immediate joining. The ideal candidate will have the necessary certifications and qualifications to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.

Responsibilities:

- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in the workplace.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to address identified hazards and risks.
- Provide HSE training and awareness programs for employees.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
- Maintain records and documentation related to health, safety, and environmental activities.
- Coordinate with management, supervisors, and employees to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in HSE.

Qualifications:

- Nebosh certification is required.
- IOSH, OSHA, and OSHAD certifications are prieferred.
- Preferably holding a driving license.
- Proven experience working as an HSE Officer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
