1.0 Title: Irrigation Supervisor

2.0 Minimum Required Competence Level:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience handling at least 3 sites with no less than 40 irrigation valve stations.
- Proficient in principles and practices of landscape maintenance.
- Knowledgeable in equipment, tools, and materials used in landscape maintenance.
- Understanding of basic principles and practices of supervision and training.
- Familiarity with principles and practices of Safety Management.
- Knowledge of Landscape, Irrigation, and Horticulture principles.
- Competent in office procedures, methods, and equipment.
- Ability to organize, implement, and direct operational activities and teams.
- Capable of reading and interpreting maps, plans, sketches, diagrams, etc.
- Demonstrates tact and diplomacy with clients.

3.0 Reporting Relationship:
- Reports to: Project Engineer
- Supervises: Crew Leaders

4.0 Functions:

Responsible for:
- Reading, analyzing, executing, installing, and maintaining irrigation systems as per irrigation drawings.
- Preferably knowledgeable in design software.
- Preparation of site-specific maintenance PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) for various irrigation components.
- Delegating, supervising, monitoring, and instructing Crew Leaders and Crew on daily routine PPMs and reactive jobs.
- Submitting daily activity reports (verbal or written) to Project Managers (PMs).
- Receiving instructions from Irrigation Manager or Projects Manager.
- Directly supervising assigned staff, including selection, training, motivation, assignment, and oversight.
- Establishing schedules and methods for work performance and ensuring adherence to procedures and policies.
- Providing proactive performance planning (PPP) and preparing premobilization site condition survey reports.
- Maintaining effective dialogue with all employees regularly.
- Recommending and assisting the team in implementation.
- Determining equipment and material supply needs, monitoring performance, preparing requisitions, and making purchases as required.
- Responding promptly to emergency maintenance calls within KPI time frames.
- Attending all work-related calls and responding appropriately.
- Addressing client requests, reports, incidents, and complaints promptly and taking corrective actions.
- Monitoring and supervising the team as necessary.
- Coordinating with other maintenance divisions, departments, outside agencies, and contractors as needed.
- Ensuring proper water shutdowns and managing emergency irrigation works.
- Responsible for photographic and report submissions for irrigation network system evaluations and client approval.
- Ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.
- Coordinating, investigating, performing, and reporting inspections of irrigation system infrastructure.
- Maintaining, adjusting, calibrating, and programming various types of irrigation controllers and systems.

5.0 Authority & Responsibilities: As per above.

6.0 Key Accountability:
- Responsible for organizing, monitoring, and supervising landscape maintenance projects and reporting to the Project Engineer and Project Manager.

Pay: AED 23,000.00 - AED 42,000.00 per month
