Job Title: Learning and Development Specialist

Role Description
The Learning and Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in the success of our academy. This position identifies training needs, designs modules, lessons, and delivery methods aligned with each department’s unique client journeys. They are responsible for enhancing skills through on-the-job upskilling initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Identify training needs and conduct capability assessments across PSI.
- Assist Line Managers in identifying necessary skills through career pathing and client journey mapping for developing learning modules.
- Create flexible and innovative learning courses.
- Design blended learning modules, lessons, and delivery methods.
- Develop assessments to measure the impact of training using various methodologies.
- Apply different learning theories to optimize staff development and job performance.
- Design a variety of learning interventions, including technical, behavioral, and leadership programs.
- Support the Train-the-Trainer (ToT) programs.
- Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including module assignments, uploads, assessments, dashboards, and reporting.
- Develop workflows and client journey processes on the LMS.
- Ensure Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards are upheld within the scope of responsibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field. A master's degree may be preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, training coordination, or related roles. Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs is highly desirable. Familiarity with LMS and e-learning platforms preferred.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Creativity in designing engaging training materials and activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
