Job Title: Manager Payment Solutions
Job Overview
As a Payment Solutions Manager at Etihad Airways, you will play a strategic role in managing and optimizing the airline's payment processes and systems. Your focus will be on enhancing payment solutions to meet evolving customer and business needs while driving continuous improvement. You will coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure the effective operation of payment systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with payment service providers, banks, and other vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and ensure alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to payment processing, including transaction volumes, success rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Take proactive measures to address issues and optimize performance.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance payment solutions.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies, expansion of payment options, and optimization of payment processes.
- Payment System Management:
- Oversee the operation and optimization of payment systems to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Project Management:
- Lead and support cross-functional projects related to payment solutions, including system upgrades and process improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with internal teams, such as finance, IT, marketing, and customer service, to align payment solutions with business objectives and customer experience strategies.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed about regulatory changes related to payment processing, data privacy, and consumer protection laws.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess risks associated with payment processing.
- Implement controls and mitigation strategies.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training for team members to enhance skills in payment processing, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, direct, and guide a team of Payment Solution Officers.
- Manage performance, coaching, and professional development.
Education & Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, information technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications in payment systems, financial technology, or project management are a plus.
- Experience:
- 5+ years in payment solutions, financial services, or e-commerce.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and leading strategic initiatives.
- Strong understanding of payment technologies and industry regulations.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build relationships, influence decision-making, and drive change.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Leadership qualities including integrity, accountability, and resilience.
