Job Title: Pharmacist

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing excellent pharmaceutical care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Your key duties will include:

- Medication Management:
- Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor customers’ drug therapies, advise on interventions, and inform customers of any potential side effects.
- Instruct customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.

- Health Services:
- Conduct health and wellness screenings.
- Provide medical services such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.

- Customer Records & Safety:
- Maintain accurate customer records.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment.

- Operational Duties:
- Complete operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries and maintaining records of controlled substances and charges.
- Remove expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.
- Adhere to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.

- Administrative Tasks:
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or pharmacology.
- Proven experience as a pharmacist.

- Skills & Abilities:
- Flexible with location and timing.
- Experience in OTC sales, cross-selling, and upselling.
- Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements, administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy-related software applications.
- Great organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.

- Licensing:
- DOH or HAAD license to practice as a pharmacist.
