Job Title: Plumber

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Daily Operations:
- Report daily work progress and trouble report completion to the Plumbing Supervisor, Maintenance Engineer, PPM Engineer/Shift Leader.
- Attend to all plumbing trouble reports daily, with a priority given to guest room issues.
- Collaborate with plumbing technicians, Supervisor/PPM engineer, and peers for preventive and annual maintenance programs.

2. Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety rules, regulations, departmental procedures, and instructions.
- Execute tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Other Responsibilities:

1. Technical Skills:
- Read building and plumbing drawings.
- Install, repair, and maintain fittings, fixtures, and pipes.
- Conduct fault finding and repair procedures, estimating labor and material costs.
- Handle water well, sewer lift, plumbing, and irrigation problems.

2. General Maintenance:
- Work closely with electricians for electrical tasks.
- Fill daily plumbing log sheets and record temperatures.
- Maintain tools, keeping the workplace neat and clean.
- Cooperate with peers and assist in their jobs when requested.

3. Communication and Collaboration:
- Speak and write in a clear and professional manner.
- Maintain good communication and collaboration with other workers.
- Understand Raffles Brand and operating standards.

4. Qualifications:
- Good practical trade skills, including fabrication, installation, and maintenance.
- Secondary School + Technical College or equivalent.
- Trade Certificates, City & Guild, or equivalent.
- Preferable apprentice time service candidate.
- Age 25+, smart, tidy, and alert.
- Good basic English.
