Presales Engineer - ICT

Job Title: Presales Engineer - ICT

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and vendor lists to understand project requirements.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), proposals, and cost sheets, assisting in the preparation and submission of proposals.
- Ensure Request for Proposals (RFPs) are evaluated thoroughly, raise Request for Information (RFIs), and clarify technical queries before proposal submission.
- Create and maintain proper documentation, demonstrating solutions through methodologies, block diagrams, schematics, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and review of shop drawings.
- Conduct detailed site surveys and participate in pre and post-bid meetings.
- Prepare material submittals based on proposed solutions and deliver technical presentations.
- Support the technical team in executing projects on time.
- Attend meetings with customers to gather requirements and review proposals.
- Prior experience in offering complete infrastructure solutions with expertise in Networking, Unified Communication (UCC), Telephony, Security, Storage, and ICT cabling infrastructure solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, IT, or Telecom.

- Certifications:
- Certifications in different IT domains, preferably in IT Network and Security.

- Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Presales within the ICT industry.

Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct detailed site surveys and gather technical requirements.
- Proficiency in preparing BOQs, proposals, and cost sheets.
- Familiarity with networking, UCC, telephony, security, storage, and ICT cabling solutions.
