Job Title: Product Owner

Job Summary:

The Product Owner is responsible for transforming business goals and values into actionable roadmaps and refined product backlogs within an Agile environment. This role involves continuously assessing business needs, refining priorities, defining milestones, and managing risks to ensure product success and alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Vision & Roadmap: Lead team scrums to define the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities. Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project to align product goals with business objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with company contacts, Business Units, IT Business Analysts (BA), and IT Service Management (ITSM) teams to create and maintain the product backlog based on business value and strategic goals.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Agile project management to apply innovative approaches to product development.
- Backlog Management: Plan and prioritize product development tasks and feature backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and value.
- Specification Development: Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they are clearly communicated and understood by all relevant teams.
- Value Assessment: Assess the value of features, develop use cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure alignment with the product strategy.
- Roadblock Mitigation: Identify and address roadblocks to achieve sprint and release goals, facilitating smooth project execution.
- Release Planning: Lead product-release planning, setting clear expectations for the delivery of new functionalities and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Product Ambassadorship: Serve as the product ambassador both internally and externally, sharing knowledge and addressing questions related to the product.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
- Certification: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is required.
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant work experience in product management and Agile environments.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to lead and manage product vision and roadmap development.
- Strong collaboration skills with Business Units, IT teams, and stakeholders.
- Expertise in managing and prioritizing product backlogs and feature specifications.
- Ability to assess and prioritize business value, and address roadblocks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to serve as a product ambassador.
