Job Title: Scrum Master

Job Summary:

The Scrum Master acts as a liaison between the product owner and the development teams, ensuring the smooth execution of projects using Agile methodology. This role involves refining project timelines, leading the team towards timely delivery, and facilitating the Scrum process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Agile Leadership: Lead the Scrum team in applying Agile methodology and Scrum practices effectively.
- Team Facilitation: Assist both the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver high-quality products.
- Self-Organization: Guide the Scrum and development teams in self-organization, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Impediment Removal: Identify and remove obstacles that hinder the team’s progress, and coach the team on overcoming challenges.
- Framework Improvement: Help the team to understand and implement the Agile framework, and assist in filling any gaps in its application.
- Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts and issues that arise within the team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Scrum Maturity: Support the team in achieving higher levels of Scrum maturity and continuous improvement.
- Product Owner Support: Assist the product owner by providing education and support as needed.
- Progress Updates: Share relevant and periodic updates on sprints with stakeholders to keep them informed of progress.
- Retrospectives: Conduct retrospective exercises at the end of each sprint to reflect on performance and identify areas for improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
- Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is required.
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant work experience in Agile and Scrum environments.
- Languages: Fluent in English; Arabic is optional but preferred.
- Skills:
- Proven experience in leading Scrum teams and applying Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to facilitate and mentor teams towards self-organization and continuous improvement.
