Job Description

Job Title: Senior Planning Data Engineer

Job Summary:

The Senior Planning Data Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining business plans for Site Operations, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and effective implementation. The role involves driving performance reporting, coordinating with various departments, and promoting a performance-driven culture within the Operations Division. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business planning, KPI monitoring, and reporting within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Business Plan Development: Develop and maintain Site Operations business plans, ensuring their effective implementation.
- Operations Input Preparation: Support the preparation of Operations Division input for the corporate annual/multi-year work program and budgets, ensuring alignment with the 5-Year Business Plan.
- Performance Reporting: Drive performance reporting for Site Operations based on approved performance contracts and monitor and report performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Interface with Departments: Interface with divisional departments and corporate functions to ensure program delivery aligns with business goals.
- Performance-Driven Culture: Promote a performance-driven culture within the Operations Division, enhancing employee engagement and facilitating people development actions.
- Work Program Preparation: Prepare Operations work programs in line with divisional and corporate business planning guidelines.
- Budget Input: Provide input for Operations Annual and 5-Year Business Plan Budgets.
- Audit Reports: Support Operations Management in addressing audit report findings and ensuring timely closure of recommended tasks.
- Meeting Coordination: Coordinate Operations Management Meetings and Functional Alignment Meetings with other Divisions.
- Reporting: Prepare periodic Operations Division reports, including Weekly Highlights, Monthly Reports, and Annual Achievements Booklets.
- Initiative Coordination: Coordinate and follow up on Group Company initiatives assigned to the Operations Division.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting: Prepare ad-hoc content/reports as required by Operations Leadership.
- General Services Coordination: Coordinate with General Services activities to fulfill Site Operation requirements.
- Employee Engagement: Promote a performance-driven culture through coordination of Employee Engagement, Gender Balance, Emiratization, Staff Welfare, and Development programs with relevant departments.
- Business Processes: Maintain and implement Operations Planning business processes, procedures, and manuals.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, and applicable legislation, following sustainability guidelines and the COMPANY Code of Practices.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education: Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related scientific field.
- Experience: Accumulated a minimum of 12 to 15 years of pertinent experience, preferably in a distinguished Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, showcasing extensive expertise in the development of Operations Business Planning, Implementation, and KPI Monitoring & Reporting.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office and various computer applications.
