Planning Officer- TAFC

Job Title: Planning Officer - TAFC

We are seeking a dedicated Planning Officer to join our team at TAFC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient planning and management of raw and packaging materials to meet production and customer requirements. This role involves coordinating with various teams to support production schedules, inventory management, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and order raw materials and packaging materials based on sales forecasts.
- Schedule production and dispatch to fulfill customer demands.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw and packaging materials to prevent stockouts.
- Ensure materials are released according to the production plan and adhere to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
- Coordinate shipping and logistics activities.
- Work closely with the Planning team to manage polymer and CFB (Cardboard Fiberboard) input materials.
- Develop and implement strategic planning to support supply chain, production, and sales teams.
- Collaborate with the supply chain, production, and finance departments to ensure timely receipt and issuance of materials based on production needs.
- Ensure compliance with the production plan to meet budgeted On-Time Delivery In-Full (OTDIF) targets.
- Re-schedule and re-plan orders as needed to align with customer requirements.
- Plan and indent materials to ensure smooth production and dispatch, meeting monthly targets.
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and control production plan adherence.
- Prepare and analyze production waste reports.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 4-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Strong background in material planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.
- Proven ability to coordinate between supply chain, production, and finance teams.
- Experience with strategic planning and logistics coordination.
