Job Title: Restaurant Server:

As a Restaurant Server at The First Collection, you play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare tables and polish cutlery before and during service.
- Monitor restaurant stock and supplies, communicating any shortages promptly.
- Possess extensive knowledge of menus and other F&B outlets.
- Serve in conference rooms or other F&B outlets when required.
- Take guest orders, explain the menu, and provide guidance in decision-making.
- Liaise with management for advice as needed.
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen regarding orders and special guest requests.
- Consistently upsell food and beverages, promoting awareness of promotions.
- Prepare orders such as drinks and snacks, if necessary.
- Serve at parties and receptions when required.
- Manage payments and complete closure paperwork as needed.
- Attend departmental meetings and contribute to ideas for improvement.
- Take reservations in collaboration with the supervisor and hostess/host.
- Perform cleaning tasks during and after service to maintain impeccable guest areas.
- Collect feedback from guests and communicate it to management.
- Familiarity with F&B software to input orders accurately.
- Ensure guests receive their orders promptly, prioritizing guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the team and take pride in daily actions.

Desired Skills & Expertise:

- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Preferably experienced in high-volume F&B operations.
- Maintains excellent customer service standards.
- Strong planning and organizational skills for tasks, people, and supplies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Quantified experience in food safety and hygiene.
- Advanced customer service skills.
