Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Job Scope:
To implement HR policies and HR systems framework as directed by your superior while maintaining good employee relations. Ensure the highest standard of Customer Care and Service at all times. Key Relationships:
- Liaison with recruitment agencies and hotel schools.
- Regularly communicate with staff to maintain good relations.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate interview candidates for prospective Line Staff positions.
- Co-ordinate work experience programs.
- Correct and timely placement of internal and external advertisements.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback on reasons for turnover.
- Adherence to pre, during and post-employment checklists.
- Ensure Staff and Manager awareness of HR Policies and procedures.
- Ensure information relating to industrial instruments is readily available to all Staff and Managers.
- Assist managers in developing work practices that are in line with health and safety policies.
- Manage the performance management system and cycle of recruitment, induction, training, development, and succession for Levels 10 - 8 and ensure the process is adhered to for other positions.
- Assist with line staff counseling and career management.
- Assist line managers in the recruitment, induction, training, development, and succession for levels 3-6.
- Adhere to time frames established by Head Office.
- Initiate programs that foster good work relations, such as a social club and consultative committees.
- Maintenance of employee files.
- Maintenance and administration of health and safety workplace cases, as well as the management of rehabilitation programs.
- Database Management.
- Manage standardized responses to correspondence.
- Assists in maintaining a comprehensive, current, and guest-focused set of departmental standards and procedures and oversees their implementation through ongoing training.
- Prepares and administers a detailed orientation program for new staff.
- Provides input for probation and formal performance appraisal discussions in line with company guidelines.
- Coaches, counsels, and disciplines staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.

Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position.
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.
- Strong ability to use MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems (e.g., Bayan Sys.).
- In-depth understanding of sourcing tools, like resume databases and online communities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- HR certification is an advantage.
- BSc/BA in Business Administration or a relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus.
