Job Description
Job Title: Senior Manager
Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Consulting Service Quality function, providing critical support in risk identification and mitigation across multiple teams' bids and projects. The role ensures that risks are identified and managed effectively, policies are adhered to, and compliance with regulations is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Management:
- Collaborate with multiple pursuit teams to identify and mitigate risks for their proposals.
- Advise on scope assumptions and limitations to minimize risk exposure.
- Review bids on short notice and provide guidance on risk management.
- Project Oversight:
- Work with project teams to review projects against set criteria, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies in alignment with project leadership.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and escalate red flags to relevant stakeholders as needed.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure adherence to data protection laws and security policies.
- Work with project teams and the legal department to address identified risks in contracts.
- Review and mitigate third-party risks in collaboration with project teams.
- Process Improvement:
- Develop and modify procedures and controls to address policy changes or identified risks.
- Monitor market and regulatory updates to advise on emerging risks and their potential impacts.
- Reporting and Training:
- Oversee the preparation of risk reports for senior management, highlighting risk exposures, mitigation efforts, and recommendations.
- Facilitate risk management training and awareness programs across the organization.
- Team Management:
- Manage a virtual team to handle day-to-day operations effectively.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on risk-related matters and process improvements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certification in risk management (e.g., ICertERM, PMI-RMP, CRM) is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience in risk management, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to risk management.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and engage with senior-level stakeholders.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience.
