Job Title: Senior QA Engineer

Position Summary:

BlackStone eIT is seeking a skilled Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be integral in designing and implementing test plans, executing test cases, and identifying and documenting defects. This role requires a strong background in software testing and automation, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Quality Assurance:
- Design, implement, and maintain test plans and test cases.
- Execute test cases, identify defects, and document issues.
- Ensure software meets quality standards and requirements.

- Automation:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium WebDriver or Cypress.
- Perform automated and manual testing as needed.

- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve software quality.

- Problem Solving:
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

- API Testing:
- Conduct API testing and work with RESTful APIs to ensure functionality and reliability.

Requirements:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Skills:
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium WebDriver or Cypress.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with API testing and working with RESTful APIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
