Job Title: Specialist - Backend Engineer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with a strong background in Microservices and Solution Architecture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, cloud-based solutions, as well as providing technical leadership across multiple projects. You will work on complex integration architectures, leading teams through the full life cycle of software development while leveraging Agile methodologies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Technical & Integration Architecture:
- Design technical and integration architectures for development, runtime, and operations.
- Define scalable solutions using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) patterns and microservices.
- Design message-driven and event-driven architectures.

- Solution Design & Leadership:
- Lead the implementation of complex, large-scale solutions, from project initiation to "go-live."
- Provide technical design and architecture oversight across multiple clients and projects.
- Offer consulting services, including architectural strategy, reviews, audits, and roadmaps.

- Risk & Dependency Management:
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies associated with scoped solutions.
- Develop and maintain roadmaps for integration technologies, focusing on both current and future solutions.

- Agile Leadership:
- Introduce and integrate Agile processes within the team for streamlined delivery.
- Oversee the full life cycle of Agile software development, from planning to release management.

- Cloud & DevOps:
- Work with AWS cloud services and DevOps tools to optimize deployment and scaling.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate software development processes.

Profile Requirements:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Technical Skills:
- 4+ years of Java backend development experience, with expertise in Java 8 or Java 11.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, API Security, Redis, and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in working with MongoDB.
- Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS for cloud deployment.

- Architecture & Platform Delivery:
- Hands-on experience in platform delivery and architecture design.
- Experience in legacy platform migration, RESTful APIs, API gateways, and Microservices Architecture.

- Agile & DevOps Knowledge:
- Full understanding of Agile software development processes, scaling, and release management.

- Leadership & Communication:
- Ability to provide thought leadership and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
