Job Title: Lifeguard

Job Summary

As a Lifeguard at Movenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba, you will be responsible for supervising the swimming pools, beach areas, and related facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests. You will monitor water safety, enforce safety regulations, and maintain cleanliness in recreation areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Safety Supervision:
- Continuously monitor the swimming pools (Summer Pool, Children’s Pool, Winter Pool, Spa Infinity Pool, Beach Lounge Infinity Pool) to ensure safety rules and regulations are followed.
- Take full control of water safety, assisting guests who may experience difficulty and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and fire prevention policies.
- Report changing weather conditions to the Supervisor/Line Manager and Security/Main Gate, and manage pool or beach closures as necessary.

- Guest Interaction:
- Maintain a friendly, neat, and professional appearance at all times. Wear the correct clean uniform with a name badge.
- Provide a high level of customer service, maintaining a positive image of the hotel and ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests.

- Facility Maintenance:
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the working area, including pools, beach areas, and shuttle buses.
- Perform all duties in a timely and efficient manner according to established company policies and procedures.

- Team Cooperation:
- Work harmoniously with all hotel employees, applying Accor’s service standards and providing personalized service within the scope of the job.

Your Experience and Skills

- Knowledge of local streets, tourist attractions, culture, and traditions.
- Ability to perform duties in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Experience in a similar role or a strong background in safety and customer service is preferred.
