Job Title: Multi-Property Marketing Executive
POSITION SUMMARY
The Multi-Property Marketing Executive is responsible for promoting the brand image of Westin Aqaba Resort & Spa and Al Manara, A Luxury Collection Hotel Saraya Aqaba both internally and externally. This role involves using sales techniques to maximize revenue, maintaining guest loyalty, and managing preview package sales/tours for Marriott vacation club properties. The Executive will communicate with potential owners, manage office duties, and support Sales & Marketing activities while ensuring high standards of guest service and team support.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Brand Promotion and Sales:
- Promote awareness of the brand image for both properties internally and externally.
- Use sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
- Communicate with potential owners via telephone to set up preview package sales/tours.
- Encourage guests or callers to purchase or schedule preview package sales/tours.
- Explain details and requirements related to attending a sales presentation.
- Verify eligibility of individuals for preview package sales/tours.
- Guest Services and Relations:
- Determine and provide complimentary gifts (e.g., rewards points, show tickets) to guests as tokens of appreciation.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
- Anticipate and address guest service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Administrative Support:
- Perform general office duties such as filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing to support Sales & Marketing.
- Receive, record, and relay messages accurately and completely.
- Team and Management Support:
- Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
- Support the team to achieve common goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Physical Requirements:
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Additional Duties:
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
- License or Certification: None required.
