Position: Control & Reporting Analyst

Job Description Overview:
This role involves managing a team of 8-9 Accounts Receivable (AR) analysts responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual AR deliverables. The position requires regular interaction with business unit control teams and outsourced delivery teams to meet defined service levels and KPIs, including customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead a team of 8-9 AR Analysts, ensuring accurate and timely preparation and submission of reports.
- Service Delivery: Ensure service delivery of activities performed by the team within agreed timelines per the SLA.
- Journal Entries & Reconciliation: Approve and ensure completeness of journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and reserves to maintain accurate AR accounts during month-end closing.
- Balance Sheet Review: Review balance sheet account reconciliations for accounts receivables, identify and investigate variances, and ensure timely resolution.
- Audit Support: Support US GAAP and local audits with external auditors and manage deliverables.
- Ad hoc Analysis: Prepare ad hoc analysis for internal customers.
- Technical Accounting Guidance: Provide daily technical accounting advice and policy guidance to business partners.
- Issue Communication: Ensure timely communication of any issues to the CBS Control and Reporting Lead.
- Financial Controls: Maintain financial controls by adhering to policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
- Corporate Audit Support: Provide input for corporate audits.

Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Professional Qualifications: Financial technical skills achieved through experience and accounting qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Post Qualified Experience: 3-5 years of post-qualified experience.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of AR accounting.
- Language Skills: Strong communication skills in English; additional language skills may be required.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to link accounting concepts to financial data systems to analyze and interpret results.
- Team Integration: Ability to integrate well within a team environment.
- Results-Oriented: Action and result-oriented, with a strong attention to deadlines.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) with the ability to create complex formulas in Excel.
- Financial Systems Experience: Familiarity with financial systems and databases (e.g., SAP).
- Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and self-motivated.
- Attitude: Exhibit a strong can-do attitude with a sense of urgency in meeting deadlines.
