Job Description
Job Title: Manpower Planning Analyst
Roles & Responsibilities
Manpower Planning Review and Analysis
- Coordinate the establishment, development, and implementation of Manpower Planning Policies, Procedures, and guidelines.
- Regularly collaborate with Department Heads to assess their manpower needs in alignment with the business plan, providing informed recommendations to the Manpower Planning Team Lead.
- Identify, analyze, and propose solutions to manpower planning challenges.
- Facilitate the approval process for all Manpower Requisitions and ensure the updated manpower plan is communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
System Administration & Reporting
- Evaluate and process requests for additional manpower, including the creation, deletion, upgrading, downgrading, reclassification, and splitting of positions.
- Conduct monthly staff headcount checks by coordinating with all business units to reconcile HR records with actual departmental staffing levels.
- Collate and analyze data on current staff numbers (headcount reports), staff level distribution, turnover rates, and retention metrics.
- Update employee cost centers by reorganizing assignments according to approved job transfers, ensuring accurate cost allocation to the appropriate departments.
- Assist in job analysis efforts as part of the job description development process.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Business or Human Resources) or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a similar industry.
- Proficiency in HRIS Administration.
