Job Description
Job Title: Non-Clinical Skills Development Trainer
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Competency Framework Revision:
Revise the organization's healthcare competency framework for frontline healthcare professionals, ensuring alignment with emerging healthcare service development plans and professional development initiatives.
- Occupational Standards Development:
Develop healthcare management and non-clinical occupational standards that support the organization’s Corporate Strategic Plan, focusing on delivery and outcomes.
- Training Program Facilitation:
Deliver and facilitate competency-based training programs and peer development forums for non-clinical Qatari national development, enhancing skills and supervisory capabilities to foster teamwork.
- Assessment Tool Development:
Lead the creation of an assessment tool and evaluation framework to assess performance, engagement, and outcomes, providing recommendations to motivate a skilled, integrated workforce with structured professional development.
- Coaching and Mentorship Program:
Establish a specialized coaching and mentorship program in both Arabic and English to support the professional development of non-clinical Qatari healthcare professionals, in line with the organization's competency framework.
- Team Readiness Assessment:
Assess and nurture workplace team readiness through professional development programs that promote best practices in healthcare service delivery, including peer-to-peer learning.
- E-Learning Resource Development:
Develop and deliver e-library and blended learning resources specific to non-clinical Qatari national skills, incorporating leadership skills for managing people-centered and integrated care. This includes managing the organization's Learning Management System, peer-to-peer forums, e-Learning modules, and e-library resources.
- Collaboration with Specialists:
Work with specialist teams and experts to establish skills development frameworks, competency-based development pathways, and management skills for supervisors, supporting experiential learning initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Professional Certification:
Certification in IT, data management and analytics, or general management and coaching/mentorship is preferred.
Experience & Knowledge Requirements:
- Relevant Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience leading national development programs, preferably in the education or health sector.
- Program Delivery:
Experience in education management and delivery of competency-based skills development programs and accreditation.
- E-Learning Delivery:
IT professional certification and experience in e-Learning delivery are advantageous.
- Coaching and Mentorship:
Proven coaching and mentorship skills, with fluency in both Arabic and English.
