Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager with a degree in Civil Engineering to oversee and manage the production operations at our blocks manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, managing production staff, optimizing resources, and adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Production Management:
Plan, schedule, and oversee all production activities in the blocks manufacturing unit, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting daily production targets.

- Quality Control:
Monitor production processes to ensure that block outputs meet both internal and external quality standards.

- Team Supervision:
Lead, train, and supervise a team of production workers, ensuring compliance with safety and production standards.

- Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities for process improvements to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.

- Inventory Management:
Ensure raw materials and inventory levels are maintained to meet production schedules.

- Safety & Compliance:
Implement and enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

- Reporting:
Prepare and submit regular production reports to senior management, outlining production targets, challenges, and solutions.

- Equipment Maintenance:
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure machinery and equipment are maintained and preventive maintenance schedules are followed.

- Cost Management:
Manage production costs within budget constraints while maintaining quality standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education:
Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution.

- Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in production management, preferably in block or construction materials manufacturing.

- Skills & Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of block manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality standards.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with process improvements and lean manufacturing techniques.
- Familiarity with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address production challenges.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with different departments.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
