Job Title: Project Accountant (Arabic Speaker)

About the Role: As a Project Accountant, you will have diverse responsibilities across Administration, Document Control, Procurement, and Logistics. Your role will involve financial reporting, budget management, document organization, vendor selection, and contract management. You will also play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient movement of materials and supplies to support our project goals and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Assist in the creation and monitoring of project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial plans.
Monitor project expenses and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with budgetary constraints.
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers for various project-related needs.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
Prepare financial documentation and assist auditors during project audits.
Maintain a systematic and organized filing system for all project-related documents and records.
Manage document access and distribution, maintaining confidentiality when necessary.
Generate purchase orders and track orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Manage project-related inventory and stock levels efficiently.
Coordinate the movement of materials, equipment, and supplies to and from project sites.
Plan and schedule transportation for project assets, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Identify and address potential logistics challenges or bottlenecks to maintain project continuity.
Analyze logistics costs and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Perform any relevant additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the immediate superior(s).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
1-3 years of project accounting relevant experience, preferably in a related industry.
Strong Admin background is mandatory.
The attainment of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
Knowledge of international accounting standards and protocols, as well as local regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of taxation procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
Knowledge of logistics, procurement, and supply chain processes, including sourcing, inventory management, transportation, and distribution.
Time management skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Data gathering & analysis skills.
Good communication/interpretation skills.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadline.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
