Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of quantity surveying within facility management, construction, or civil engineering projects. This role involves updating databases, supporting budget management, conducting audits, and ensuring the successful completion of scheduled activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Update daily information on the SC CAFM database as required.
- Ensure the successful completion of scheduled activities and provide prompt and courteous responses to customer requests.
- Support the maintenance and updating of management budgets, equipment, and materials.
- Assist in the regular service and systems audit.
- Prepare standard service level agreements.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Manager and Quantity Surveyor to collate and submit weekly and monthly reports.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent is desirable.
- MRICS or equivalent professional membership/qualification is desirable.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in facility management, construction, or civil engineering, either pre or post contract.
- Demonstrable ability to carry out the full range of Quantity Surveying duties.
- Highly computer literate with an excellent standard of numeracy and literacy.
- Proven pre-contract experience in procurement of contracts, materials, and labor supply.
- Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Meticulous, analytical, and proactive; a good team player with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to deputize for the Quantity Surveyor when required.
