Job Description
Job Title: Sales Executive
Position Summary:
As a Sales Executive, you play a crucial role in driving the hotel's commercial success by securing leads, analyzing market trends, and executing strategies to maintain the hotel's leadership in the marketplace. Your responsibilities include developing customer accounts, negotiating room rates, and collaborating with various departments to enhance the guest experience and implement comprehensive sales programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within current business strategies to contribute to the hotel's overall commercial goals.
- Develop and nurture customer accounts, driving business into the hotel/cluster and increasing market/customer share across all revenue streams.
- Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients to maximize revenue.
- Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify business opportunities.
- Implement creative local marketing channels, including social media, to attract and retain customers.
- Prepare company contracts in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience and comprehensive sales programs.
- Attend sales events as required and actively participate in networking opportunities.
- Produce accurate and timely reports for the Sales Director and senior management, including appointment and call reports.
- Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally, maintaining high standards of customer service.
