Job Title: Accountant

Roles & Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing valuable insights to management through financial analysis.

1. Financial Record Maintenance: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts, balance sheets, and income statements, to provide a clear and comprehensive view of the company's financial position.

2. Reconciliation of Accounts: Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.

3. Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP, to uphold the integrity and transparency of financial reporting.

4. Budgeting and Forecasting Support: Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities to facilitate effective financial planning and decision-making processes.

5. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns and other financial documents in accordance with applicable tax laws and regulations, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.

6. Audit Support: Provide support during audits by external auditors, including the preparation of audit schedules and documentation to facilitate a smooth audit process.

7. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights to management, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to support informed decision-making.

8. Month-end and Year-end Closing: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

9. Ad hoc Reporting: Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management, providing valuable insights and recommendations to support business objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual with the following qualifications:

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred but not required.
