Job Title: Accountant

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. ERP and Office Software Proficiency:
- Expertise in utilizing ERP software for financial transactions and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Word for data analysis and documentation.

2. Invoice, Purchase Order, and Expense Processing:
- Efficiently process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports in compliance with company policies and procedures.

3. VAT Compliance:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of VAT regulations and ensure accurate filing of VAT returns quarterly.
- Process VAT payments in a timely manner.

4. Accounts Receivable Management:
- Monitor accounts receivable, track outstanding payments, and follow up with clients for timely collection.

5. Legal Document Management:
- Oversee and manage all company legal documents, including employee files and contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

6. Tender Document Handling:
- Manage and maintain all tender-related documents, adhering to tender requirements and deadlines.

7. Petty Cash Management:
- Handle petty cash transactions and record daily petty cash expenses accurately.

8. Utility Payments Recording:
- Record and manage utility payments for the company, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

9. General Payments Handling:
- Process general payment requests for various company expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

10. Bank Reconciliation:
- Perform bank reconciliation activities to ensure alignment between company records and bank statements.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Proficiency in ERP software, Microsoft Excel, and MS Word.
- Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and experience in VAT return filing.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience in a similar role in Dubai is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
