Job Title: Application Lead

Roles & Responsibilities

- Solution Support & Development: Work as part of the application delivery and support team to provide solution support and development activities. Manage and guide internal/external teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Client Management: Translate client requirements into actionable plans. Guide and facilitate successful delivery by managing client interactions and expectations.

- Team Leadership: Lead the development and support activities, managing extended external consultants and ensuring alignment with project goals.

- Process Implementation: Implement processes to drive high quality and sustainable solutions, focusing on building, testing, and ongoing enhancements.

- Technical Expertise: Provide a dedicated knowledge base in application solutions and domain expertise. Stay updated with relevant technologies and methodologies.

- Documentation & Coaching: Develop and maintain documentation, and provide coaching and knowledge transfer to team members. Ensure resources have a proper understanding of the system landscape and technologies.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years in IT project development using Azure, Node.js, React, Next.js, and other frontend and backend technologies.

- Project Implementation: Involvement in at least eight project implementations.

- Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of eCommerce in the automotive domain.

- Backend Skills:
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, nginx
- Backend development using Node.js
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
- CI/CD DevOps practices
- Familiarity with storage queues/service bus
- Experience with REST API design patterns
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with caching mechanisms like Redis
- Experience with Azure or AWS
- Experience with serverless technology (preferred)
- Familiarity with testing frameworks

- Frontend Skills:
- Proficiency in React.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS, Sass, webpack
- Experience with server-side rendering and pre-rendering
- Familiarity with REST APIs
- Experience with OAuth and social account integrations

- Other Skills:
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Knowledge in problem/change management processes
- Team player with the ability to work across various teams
- Proven documentation skills
- Ability to provide coaching and knowledge transfer

- Education: College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

- Methodologies: Proficient in Agile methodology and DevOps practices.
