Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager - Internal Audit

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Audit Planning: Effectively plan audit engagements, including defining scope, objectives, and timelines in consultation with the Head of Audit. Ensure timely communication with auditees.
2. Risk-Based Audit Programs: Develop and implement audit programs based on key risks, understanding of business operations, and departmental goals.
3. Audit Execution: Perform audits according to Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards and IAD Guidelines. Supervise and review junior audit staff's work (if applicable), ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
4. Documentation: Maintain audit working papers, IA Memos, administrative records, and other communications as per Records Management and IIA Working Paper Standards.
5. Issue Resolution: Identify, analyze, and evaluate potential issues. Develop recommendations to enhance internal control processes and information systems.

Desired Candidate Profile:
- Experience: Good experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio). Strong understanding of auditing standards, procedures, laws, and regulations.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, organizational skills, and leadership abilities.
- Educational Qualifications: CA/ACCA/CPA (or CA Inter), MBA in Finance.
