Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Manager Treasury - Trading
Roles & Responsibilities
- Banking API Integration: Seamlessly embed banking APIs into back-office systems to automate and ensure accurate entry posting.
- Financial Records Management: Systematically manage financial records related to standard beneficiaries, bank cutoff schedules, and SSL protocols.
- Fund Transfer Supervision: Oversee daily fund transfer operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Liquidity Management: Strategically manage liquidity options to enhance financial operations' efficiency.
- Strategic Alignment: Engage in daily strategic discussions with Trading Salespersons to align requirements and execution plans.
- Reporting & Reconciliation: Conduct thorough reporting and reconciliation of daily bank balances against internal financial records.
- Control Implementation: Implement rigorous controls to ensure error-free transactions and integrate advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Technological Processes: Develop technology-driven processes to maximize risk-free returns on idle funds.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum 5-8 years in treasury or finance roles, with a solid understanding of liquidity management, bank operations, and financial reporting.
- Skills: Proficiency in treasury management systems, financial software, and bank API integration. Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of banking operations in the UAE, liquidity management, and financial instruments. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in treasury management.
- Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for managing fund transfers and reconciling bank balances. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial transactions and records.
- Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Technology Integration: Experience with implementing new technologies to improve treasury processes.
