Electrical Foreman

Job Title: Electrical Foreman

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Maintain and troubleshoot LV, MV, HV circuit breakers, including ACB, VCB, and SF6 breakers from manufacturers like ABB, Schneider, and Siemens.
- Maintain UPS systems, battery chargers, and inverters from manufacturers such as ABB and Gutor.
- Maintain and troubleshoot plant earthing and cathodic protection systems.

- Technical Skills:
- Have a good knowledge of protection relays, including testing and calibration.
- Prepare control and protection schematics for switchgear and control panels.
- Work with RTCC panel parallel operations for high voltage 33kV systems.
- Operate and maintain VFD units (ABB, 3.3kV, 415V).
- Work on LV & HV power transformers, substations, and their switchgear.

- Installation and Operation:
- Install and maintain boilers and water treatment plants.
- Isolate and energize electrical equipment as per maintenance and operational requirements.
- Operate control board circuits for industrial machines and overhead cranes.
- Conduct cable fault finding and locating using various test equipment.
- Install and maintain fire alarm systems.

- Maintenance Coordination:
- Support and coordinate electrical equipment maintenance with LO/TO and outage planning.
- Maintain inventory, inspect, and calibrate high voltage tooling and equipment.
- Execute and optimize the yearly electrical preventive maintenance program.
- Optimize stock holding items and levels for spare parts.
- Prepare and execute activities during refinery T&I shutdowns.

- Understand and implement OSHA safety practices and procedures.
- Prepare risk analysis, HIRA, and manage certification audits.
- Make daily reports and manage permit systems in compliance with safety standards.

- Competencies/Skills/Others:
- Strong knowledge of systems and related software.
- Good working knowledge of facilities equipment and O&M requirements.
- Experience in daily work planning and scheduling.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to overcome obstacles and complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Proactive in problem-solving and leading resolution of equipment issues.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems and SAP.
