Job Description
Job Title: Operational Excellence Executive
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Process Analysis and Improvement:
- Analyze current workflows, processes, and procedures within the civil company to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement streamlined processes and standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Quality Control and Audits:
- Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to quality standards in all operations.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections to identify non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Performance Measurement:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor operational performance.
- Analyze KPI data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen within the company.
- Facilitate improvement projects and workshops aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and improving overall effectiveness.
- Training and Coaching:
- Provide training and coaching to employees on operational excellence principles and methodologies.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.
- Change Management:
- Lead change management efforts related to process improvements and operational changes.
- Ensure smooth implementation of new processes and systems, and address resistance to change.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze data related to operational processes and performance.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to senior management.
- Collaboration and Relationship Building:
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to align operational improvement initiatives with company goals and objectives.
- Build strong relationships and foster teamwork across different functions within the organization.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in operational processes.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Industry Research and Innovation:
- Research industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements relevant to civil engineering and construction.
- Introduce innovative solutions and best practices to drive operational excellence and competitive advantage.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Preferably in Civil, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in operational excellence or process improvement roles.
