Job Title: Project Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Execute tasks assigned by superiors to ensure day-to-day operations comply with established standards and procedures.
- Prepare drawing and document registers (DDR) and Supplier Document Requirement Lists (SDRLs).
- Monitor and control design and document deliverables according to schedule and construction priorities.
- Coordinate with design and drafting teams to verify and issue drawings.
- Maintain document and drawing control in compliance with DDW-D procedures and project specifications.
- Prepare drawings and documentation for approval from Classification Societies and statutory bodies.
- Follow up with design and drafting teams to expedite Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Material Requisitions (MRs), and technical evaluations of vendor proposals.
- Monitor Engineering Queries (EQs) and Technical Queries (TQs), and schedule model reviews in consultation with clients.
- Follow up on Minutes of Meetings (MOMs) and pending deliverables.
- Review client specifications, prepare scope matrices, raise Technical Queries (TQs) and Engineering Queries (EQs) for clarifications.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Experience in design and engineering activities.
- Familiarity with Classification Society Rules such as NORSOK, ABS, SOLAS, IMO, and DNV GL rules, as well as Statutory Regulations.
- Strong coordination and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop, interpret, and follow method statements, procedures, specifications, drawings, and other project and engineering documentation.
- Thorough understanding of technical drawings, plans, and data.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge and experience in ship repair and new building works.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
