Job Description
Job Title: Public Relations Officer (PRO)
Purpose of Role
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be responsible for coordinating and liaising between the company and various Government organizations and authorities, serving as a key interface to ensure smooth operations. This role involves providing prompt, efficient, and reliable services for all Government-related tasks, such as employment permits, entry visas, medical examinations, and other immigration-related jobs. The PRO will also assist with business licenses and ensure compliance with frequent changes in regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee and Dependent Services:
- Obtain new employment visas and work permits for expatriate employees.
- Monitor and renew employee residence permits.
- Obtain and renew residence visas for dependents of employees.
- Facilitate the obtaining and renewal of expatriate passports for employees and their dependents.
- Manage visa cancellations for employees and dependents.
- Handle complex medical and police procedures in the event of an employee or next of kin's death.
- Business Facilitation:
- Liaise with embassies and foreign diplomatic missions to enable business visits.
- Coordinate with UAE Immigration to obtain business entry visas for global business visitors.
- Company Licensing and Compliance:
- Administer company and joint venture licenses and tax remittances with various UAE government authorities, such as the Economic Department, Municipality, Chamber of Commerce, and Ministry of Finance & Industries.
- Advisory and Record Maintenance:
- Provide expert advice on visa formalities and other government-related procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all government-related services.
- Regulatory Updates and Task Management:
- Stay updated on government rules and regulations, ensuring compliance.
- Efficiently manage urgent tasks with minimal notice, evaluating, prioritizing, and accomplishing them promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, with strong experience dealing with government organizations and embassies.
- At least a secondary education qualification.
- Excellent networking and interpersonal skills.
- Strong influencing skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic is mandatory.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Valid driving license.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other computer skills.
Working Hours
Monday - Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM
