Job Title: QC Engineer/Inspector

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Quality Control Oversight:
- Conduct inspections and quality control of static equipment, including heat exchangers, pressure vessels, columns, and fin fans.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Certification and Standards:
- Utilize certifications such as API or CSWIP to perform inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship.

- Inspection and Testing:
- Perform detailed inspections and testing of equipment and materials to verify conformance with quality requirements.
- Document and report any deviations from quality standards and oversee corrective actions.

- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on inspection findings and quality control results.

- Coordination with Teams:
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address quality issues and ensure successful project execution.
- Provide guidance on quality control procedures and best practices to site teams.

- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to quality control and inspection.
- Stay updated on changes in quality control practices and standards.

- Problem Solving:
- Identify and resolve quality issues and non-conformities promptly.
- Recommend improvements to quality control processes and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of GCC experience in shutdown/turnaround maintenance within the oil and gas industry.
- Extensive experience with static equipment including heat exchangers, pressure vessels, columns, and fin fans.

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- Certifications:
- API or CSWIP certification is required.

- Skills and Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and inspection techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Experience working in Gulf countries is preferred.
