Roles & Responsibilities

Overview:
IIQAF is seeking an experienced Security Guard to provide a wide variety of services with a focus on protecting the staff, premises, and assets of our rapidly growing company. The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of IIQAF personnel, buildings, and property.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Facility Security:
- Secure the facility by patrolling and inspecting areas using various equipment and systems.
- Monitor entrances and check identification of individuals entering the site.
- Record and maintain logs of visitors and activities on the premises.

2. Safety Enforcement:
- Maintain safety and security by alerting relevant personnel of potential risks, suspicious activities, and unauthorized personnel.
- Investigate any suspicious activities and collect evidence as needed.
- Enforce site rules and regulations consistently and fairly.

3. Emergency Response:
- Assist in responding to emergency situations on-site, including medical emergencies and disturbances.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and respond to alarms as required.
- Provide assistance during evacuations or other emergency procedures.

4. Customer Service:
- Provide assistance to staff and visitors when needed, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment.
- Offer directions and support to guests, enhancing their experience while maintaining security protocols.

Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous security experience in a similar environment is preferred.
- Knowledge: Understanding of security operations and industry regulations.
- Skills:
- Proficient in the use of security equipment (alarms, surveillance cameras, etc.).
- Excellent physical fitness to perform patrolling and respond to emergencies.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with staff, guests, and external personnel.
- Availability: Willingness to work shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
