Job Title: Senior Accountant

Roles & Responsibilities:

Accounting:
- Finalize the books of accounts and prepare MIS reports for various entities.
- Book journal entries, debit and credit notes; prepare bank reconciliations, related party reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules.
- Prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts, and other analytical reports as required.

VAT:
- Prepare, validate, and submit monthly VAT reports and returns in compliance with regulations.
- Identify VAT risks, plan remediation actions, and manage the implementation of these plans.
- Track changes in VAT legislation, assess implications, and provide relevant advice to clients.
- Submit reports to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).

Corporate Tax:
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax laws.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns, ensuring timely payment of taxes.
- Advise on tax-related matters and provide insights into the tax implications of business decisions.
- Submit reports to the FTA.

Desired Candidate Profile:
- Education: Preferably CA Intermediate or semi-ACCA qualified.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably in accounting firms. Experience in tax from other countries is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong interpersonal skills with effective written and verbal communication.
- Good working knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, MS Dynamics, etc.
