Job Title: Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Superintendent for our commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will manage subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality project completion. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control duties to ensure all work meets the required standards and specifications.
- Communication: Liaise with the project team regarding Requests for Information (RFIs) and Material Submittals.
- Contract Compliance: Ensure subcontractors fully execute and comply with their contracted scope of work.
- Conflict Resolution: Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
- Daily Log Maintenance: Maintain a detailed daily log of activities on the job site.
- Site Management: Ensure the job site is consistently clean, organized, and safe.
- Punch List Management: Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and oversee their completion.

Qualifications:

- Travel: Must be willing to travel to project sites as required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in commercial or light-industrial construction with thorough knowledge of trades.
- Communication Skills: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively in front of groups of customers or employees.
- Subcontractor Management: Proven experience in managing and directing subcontractors.
- Blueprint Reading: Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
