Job Title: Translator (Emiratis Only)

Summary:

We are seeking a Translator to interpret written and audio pieces from Arabic to English and vice versa, ensuring the preservation of their original meaning, format, and tone.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Read given material and research industry-specific terminology.
2. Convert text and audio recordings from Arabic to English and vice versa.
3. Ensure translated content conveys the original meaning and tone.
4. Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check the quality of translation.
5. Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.
6. Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs.
7. Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g., font and structure).

Requirements and Skills:

1. Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or in a similar role.
2. Fluency in English in addition to your native language - Arabic.
3. Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
4. Time-management skills.
5. Additional certification in Linguistics is a plus.
