Architect

Job Title: Architect

The Architect will be responsible for conducting architectural studies, developing design concepts, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements. This role involves reviewing design documents, coordinating with engineering and construction units, and providing technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design & Documentation:
- Conduct architectural studies and develop design concepts and criteria.
- Review CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards to ensure compliance with regulations and the Saudi Building Code.
- Write construction specifications and prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
- Review, approve, and issue detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others.

- Coordination & Compliance:
- Interface with suppliers as required and coordinate work with engineering and construction units at project sites.
- Prepare related reports to be uploaded on the Baladi System (MOMRA).
- Provide support to issue all required licenses and permits for Saudi Projects.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.

- Technical Guidance:
- Provide technical guidance to Architectural Designers/Drafters working on the same project.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.

- Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in the application of architectural design standards, practices, and techniques.
- Demonstrated proficiency in sketching, rendering, model-building, and presentation drawing.
- Proficiency in CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with architectural design.
- Familiarity with governmental websites and regulations, including MOMRA, Baladi, Municipalities, Saudi Building Code, and Saudi Electricity Company.
