Job Description

Job Title: Financial Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Oversee the company’s daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal company policies.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive financial statements, reports, and forecasts for senior management review.
- Monitor and analyze variances between actual financial results and budgeted/forecasted figures, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all financial activities.
- Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements to ensure smooth and successful regulatory adherence.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the financial feasibility of business initiatives and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management, recommending and implementing improvements to financial processes and controls.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, Excel, and financial modeling tools.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proactive, results-oriented approach with the ability to drive continuous improvement and change management.
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory compliance and familiarity with relevant financial laws and regulations.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity in handling confidential financial data.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA or CMA preferred).
- Proven experience in financial management or accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a supervisory position.
- Expertise in financial reporting practices, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, financial laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in financial reporting.
