Job Title: Hydraulic Service Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Inspection and Diagnosis:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and hoses.
- Identify and address issues in hydraulic components and systems across a wide range of equipment.

2. Repair and Maintenance:
- Repair or replace defective hydraulic parts and components.
- Clean and maintain hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid system failures and extend equipment lifespan.

3. Installation and Modification:
- Install hydraulic systems, including testing and configuring equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Modify existing hydraulic systems to improve efficiency and adapt to new technologies or requirements.

4. Diagnostic Assessments:
- Perform pressure tests and other diagnostic assessments to verify that hydraulic systems are operating correctly and efficiently.

5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
- Report any major issues or system failures to management promptly.

6. Team Leadership:
- Lead and supervise a team of hydraulic technicians or mechanics.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure high standards of work.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years as a hydraulic mechanic or in a similar role within a mechanical environment.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and tools, including pumps, valves, actuators, and hoses.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Leadership abilities to manage and guide a team effectively.
