Job Description
Job Title: Electrophysiology Technology Specialist - Female
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrophysiology Technology Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in performing and assisting with electrophysiology procedures and will be responsible for operating and maintaining specialized equipment, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to the advancement of the field.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Diagnostic and Interventional Procedures:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures under the guidance of a physician.
- Assist in the insertion and removal of catheters and other devices during procedures.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
- Operate and maintain electrophysiology equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and addressing any technical issues.
- Patient Data Monitoring:
- Monitor and analyze patient data, including EKG and intracardiac electrograms, during procedures.
- Assist in the interpretation of test results and provide accurate documentation.
- Sterile Field Maintenance:
- Maintain a sterile field during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
- Patient Education:
- Educate patients and their families about the procedures, including preparation, expectations, and post-procedure care.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Participate in research and development activities to advance the field of electrophysiology.
- Professional Development:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in electrophysiology technology.
