Job Description
Job Title: IT Key Accounts Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Key Accounts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sale of IT solutions, including hardware, software, and services, to new and existing customers. This role involves working closely with technology/IT purchasers from SMBs, banking, and government organizations to achieve revenue goals.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Business Development:
- Utilize networking and prospecting techniques to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Conduct cold calls to generate new business leads, arrange meetings with clients, and create interest in the company's products and services.
- Client Engagement:
- Create and deliver compelling presentations to customers, including high-level overviews of solution capabilities and product demonstrations.
- Understand customers' business needs and provide relevant solutions to address their challenges.
- Sales Management:
- Manage customer objections and persuade prospective buyers that the company's products or services will meet their needs in terms of quality, price, and service delivery.
- Achieve sales targets set by management.
- Manage forecasting and reporting to provide better visibility for management.
- Account Management:
- Promote product upgrades, additional technologies, and solutions to existing customers through upselling and cross-selling.
- Maintain strategic partnerships with customers, technology vendors, and distributors.
- Market Awareness:
- Attend trade shows and events to support marketing activities.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in software, hardware, and related solutions to ensure a current understanding of the technology landscape.
- Task Management:
- Organize and prioritize daily and weekly tasks effectively.
- Track purchase requests for specific projects to assist with the procurement process.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in sales, particularly in software/solution sales.
- Working knowledge of office automation products and experience in creating sales pitch presentations.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of technology.
- Proficiency in English and a valid driving license.
- Personal Attributes:
- A strong appetite for learning new technologies and achieving sales goals.
- Ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and vendors.
